Five Years on the Appalachian Trail by Buck Innerebner
Description
Springer Mountain, Georgia, April Fool’s Day,
2007. Rain fell lightly as I took my first steps along this
2,176-mile footpath leading to Mt. Katahdin, Maine.
My backpack weighed over 45 pounds, tonight would
be my first ever sleeping in a tent. Five years later upon
summiting the big mountain up north, I thought myself
to be an experienced hiker. This is a short account of
that journey. The things I liked as well as the things I
did not.
